Service information
Privacy — draft notice.
Draft, not final legal text. This page describes the current V1 service in plain language. It is not legal advice and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Retention periods, lawful bases and provider details are not finalised for release. A complete notice will replace this draft before general availability.
What this page covers
KroxFolio is a client proofing service for photographers and studios. This draft covers the account and gallery data the service handles. It does not describe print ordering or client-funded AI editing, because those features are not live in V1.
Studio accounts
A studio account includes sign-in identity, workspace membership, galleries, uploaded photographs, selection rules, share links, selections, notes, crop instructions and audit events. The service also keeps basic technical logs needed to operate and secure it.
Gallery visitors
Clients do not need an account to view or select from a private gallery. A visitor reaches a gallery through a scoped link the studio chooses to share. Their selections, pinned notes and crop requests are stored with that gallery and are visible to the studio that owns it.
Photographs
Originals are kept as the source of truth. The service creates separate display versions and does not overwrite an original when a client requests a crop or the studio republishes a render. Client edits are stored as instructions and versions, not as changes to the original file.
Service providers
KroxFolio relies on hosting, authentication, database and media-storage providers to run the service. The final provider list, processing locations and contractual terms are not published in this draft.
Retention and deletion
A retention period and deletion process are not finalised for release. This draft does not promise a specific retention period or a self-service deletion route. Those details must be settled before general availability.
Contact
For a gallery you received, contact the studio that shared it. For account questions, use the support route provided inside the studio. This draft does not publish a dedicated privacy mailbox because one has not been confirmed.
Status
This is release-caveat text for a development service. It is not a binding privacy notice, and it does not claim a security certification or legal review.
